Avengers: Doomsday is Marvel Studios' next Avengers film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (who previously made Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame) and produced by studio president Kevin Feige, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom. It follows a year of marketing that included a Comic-Con trailer, D23 footage and new scenes added to the Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release. The World Series preview is the latest promotional step ahead of the film's December 18, 2026 release.

Some fear Avengers: Secret Wars may be delayed as production reportedly hasn't properly begun, and there has been speculation Doomsday may get a later IMAX release.
