- Sep 18, 2026A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg in a possible drive-by shooting near O'Connor Road and Stahl Park; he walked home around 1:30 a.m. and his mother drove him to a fire station, where paramedics treated him before hospital transport. Police said he was in stable condition and expected to recover.
- Sep 21, 2026A rollover crash occurred around 4 a.m. near Broadway and East Hildebrand Avenue; police said a white SUV took a sharp turn and rolled over a power box. Two people were found unresponsive and later regained consciousness and were taken to hospital; a third person was detained for questioning.
- Sep 23, 2026A 59-year-old man was found dead inside a vehicle behind a Cracker Barrel off Rittiman Road; officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call around 5:20 a.m. in the 6300 block of Interstate 35 North. Police said it was unclear how he died, but the preliminary report noted no signs of foul play or trauma.
