- Sep 19, 2026TweakTown reports Rockstar's next game after GTA 6 is already confirmed, but it isn't Red Dead Redemption 3; nothing has been officially announced for Rockstar's next internally developed standalone game.
- Sep 20, 2026A Nexus Mods mod by somncoitus, Online Horses in Singleplayer, adds 48 horse breeds from Red Dead Online to Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode. Free downloads for RDR2 are also officially available until October 5, with a moonshine-themed event and rotating Featured Series.
- Sep 22, 2026Reports say Rockstar will speed up Red Dead Redemption 3 development after GTA VI's release, with preliminary preparations already underway. Separately, modder MrVicho13's San Andreas mod ports the GTA state into RDR2 as an explorable location via RedM.
