Archived — this story has rotated out of today’s deck. It is kept here in full.
The gist
In VisionQuest Episode 4, Ultron persuades Vision to hand over control of their body during a fight.
He now inhabits the body he built for himself in Age of Ultron.
Background
Ultron is the Avengers' evil android, voiced by James Spader, who returns in VisionQuest, Marvel Television's Disney+ series that debuted with a two-episode premiere on Oct 14, 2026. In Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Ultron built a hyper-advanced body but never uploaded his program into it; the Avengers took it and used it to create Vision, the synthezoid played by Paul Bettany. Ultron has been preserved inside Vision's head since the Battle of Sokovia and has been getting Vision to trust and rely on him, which sets up the Episode 4 turn.
