Switch Online adds Game Boy games
Archived — this story has rotated out of today’s deck. It is kept here in full.
The gist
Nintendo added Avenging Spirit, Mole Mania and Revenge of the 'Gator to Switch Online on October 27, 2026.
The trio needs only a standard membership, not the pricier Expansion Pack tier.
Background
Nintendo Switch Online is Nintendo's subscription service, and its Nintendo Classics library is where the company adds older games for subscribers to play. This drop follows an October 2026 update that put three Game Boy Advance titles — Monster Rancher Advance, METAL SLUG ADVANCE and Kururin Paradise — on the higher Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier. The new Game Boy titles differ in that a standard membership is enough to play them, on both the Switch 2 and the original Switch.
