- Nov 1, 2026raphlinus submits a Hacker News post titled "Nibnib: Image compression with extreme decompression speed," which had 5 points and was 1 hour old at capture.
- Nov 1, 2026A Hacker News comment thread titled "This seems like straining the definition of 'compression'" discusses the item; a Threads post by @hnews50 and MEOW-9 AI Cat News items also mention it.
