Polyend open-sources Tracker firmware and ships Community Edition 1.0

The gist

Polish developer Polyend published Tracker firmware source code and released Community Edition 1.0 for all three instruments.
Users can now rewrite the firmware, or build a new instrument on the hardware.

How it unfolded

  1. Nov 2, 2026Polyend publishes the firmware source code for the original Tracker, Tracker+ and Tracker Mini on GitHub and releases Tracker Community Edition 1.0, installable on all three instruments.

  3. Nov 2, 2026Polyend posts on Facebook and Instagram that all Trackers are getting a major firmware update and that Tracker is now open source.
