Tesla to wind down Cybertruck production
The gist

- Jan 29, 2026Tesla was ending Model S and Model X production in Q2; annual production totals including the low-volume Cybertruck were roughly 54,000 units in 2025.
- Nov 6, 2026Musk announced on X that Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Austin, Texas factory around the middle of next year to "make room for increased Cybercab production."
