Michael C. Hall, 55, is the actor who has played Dexter Morgan since 2006 — a Miami police forensic analyst specializing in blood-spatter analysis who hunted serial killers who had escaped justice. The show ran until 2013 with a controversial ending, and the character returned in the limited series Dexter: New Blood (2021-2022), set 10 years later, where his now-grown son Harrison (Jack Alcott) finds him. Dexter: Resurrection continues the story, now with Dexter killing and dispensing justice in New York, and the show has recreated its iconic opening credits to mark its 20th anniversary.
