ESPN Unlimited streams WWE Crown Jewel exclusively on ESPN App
Archived — this story has rotated out of today’s deck. It is kept here in full.
The gist
ESPN will stream WWE Crown Jewel in the U.S. only on the ESPN App on Nov.
The event requires an ESPN Unlimited plan, showing how ESPN is pushing fans to its own app.
Background
ESPN Unlimited is one of two direct-to-consumer plans from ESPN, the sports network, alongside ESPN Select, which offers only ESPN+. Unlimited gives subscribers ESPN's full suite of networks and services on the ESPN App, including more than 47,000 live events a year, on-demand replays, studio shows and original programming. The plan has been expanding its reach: its content became available directly on YouTube TV starting Sept. 1, 2026, and is included at no extra cost on YouTube TV plans that include ESPN. The Crown Jewel announcement extends that push by making a WWE premium live event exclusive to the ESPN App for U.S. viewers.
