- Sep 17, 2026Two people were shot about 3:18 a.m. at a BP gas station in the 2100 block of South Western Avenue in Little Village; a 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman in a car were hit when a dark SUV pulled up and someone opened fire, then drove off. Both were taken to Mt. Sinai hospital and are expected to recover.
- Sep 20, 2026A 41-year-old man was shot in the face around 6:36 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Kingston Avenue in South Shore and was pronounced dead at a hospital; his name has not been released.
- Sep 21, 2026A man was found shot and killed Monday morning in West Pullman; police said he was found outside in the 800 block of West 117th Street at 8:33 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, with Calumet Area detectives investigating.
