The gist
Peter Krause's NBC drama Line of Fire premiered September 21 at 10 p.m. ET.
The debut follows his 9-1-1 exit, marking his return to broadcast TV.
Background
Line of Fire comes from Quantico creator Joshua Safran and is loosely based on executive producer Jenna Bush Hager's experiences with the United States Secret Service and growing up with Secret Service protection. Krause played Captain Bobby Nash on 9-1-1 from 2018 to 2025, and the character was killed off with a heroic sacrifice in Season 8.
