Ozzfest is the touring metal festival Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's widow and longtime manager, launched in 1996 after she couldn't book Ozzy on Lollapalooza; it ran as an annual tour through 2008 and was last held as a one-day event at The Forum in Inglewood, California, in 2018. Ozzy Osbourne, the late metal icon who founded the festival with Sharon, died in July 2025, weeks after a farewell Black Sabbath show at Birmingham's Villa Park. The revival is being curated by the Osbourne family to honor his legacy, and Villa Park in Birmingham is confirmed as the first 2027 venue.
